We've Doubled

It's official, our little family just doubled in size!

Brinkley Jada Clyde

Born January 30, 2008
4:32 AM
6 Pounds and 3 Ounces
19 Inches
She looks just like her daddy and has lots of thick, dark hair.

Braxton Reese Clyde

Born January 30, 2008
4:40 AM
6 Pounds and 7 Ounces
19 Inches
He looks just like his mommy and has reddish hair like his daddy.

The winners of the baby weight and length guessing contest are:
Jocelyn: 38 inches--right on!!
Aimee: 13.5 pounds. Everyone was over, I'm sure because of the ultra-sound last week--but those machines can be +/- a pound!
I'm sure I'll Blog the long labor and delivery story later, but here's the quick scoop for those of you that are interested. My water bag broke at 5:00 in the morning on January 29th, the babies we're born early in the morning on January 30th. I choose the epidural and after 4 attempts it took. The babies were born vaginally 8 minutes apart. Best day of my life!

So freaking cute! Now I want twins. A BIG congrats to you and your family! I agree...the best day of your life. Can't wait to hear the whole story! Get some rest and take good care of yourself. It takes a while to recover (mentally, physically etc.) Enjoy every single moment! There is nothing like it.

Congrats! I am so excited for you. Yeah you aren't pregnant anymore. That is usually the best part besides finally getting to meet the baby, or babies in your case! Glad everyone is healthy and doing good.

YAY!!! Congratulations! You must be bursting with pride, both for your babies and yourself- I don't think anyone I know has ever successfully delivered twins vaginally before you. Seriously, you're Superwoman! Hope these first few days are going well. Congratulations again!

I'm with Kim- one of the best parts of delivery is the immediate relief of not having a belly anymore!

So happy for your family. Your babies are beautiful! Can't wait to hear more about your experience and I can only imagine the stories you'll be sharing in the months to come!
