Blossom’s birthday was last month and I want to make sure that she gets her own little “moment” on the Blog, so this post is dedicated to the pup we love, who has taught us patience, unconditional love and prepared us to become better parents.
These past three years have flown by. David and I still very clearly remember when she was just a “baby” we rescued her and her sibs and mommy from one of my employees. She had too many dogs…like 17…and her neighbors reported her and she was forced to give many of them up. So instead of Blossom (she didn’t have a name then) going to a shelter we took in the whole family. The pups were just three weeks old and so tiny; they lived in our bathroom for 5 weeks until they were old enough to go to new homes. Blossom was the tiniest and the most snugly, she still is. We decided to keep her and what a blessing it’s been.

She is so talented, she can shake, high-5, dance, roll over and play dead just to name a few of her talents! She is so full of unconditional love and no nap in the Clyde home is complete without her. She loves sleeping, going on walks, barking at strange dogs and looking out the window until we get home from work. She loves chewing on stuffed animals until there is no more stuffing inside, she loves to eat string cheese, eggs, chicken and pretty much any human food we’re willing to share, she loves her belly scratched and riding in the car. She loves strange adults, she is no respecter of person when it comes to licking, now children on the other hand are a different story, they are too close to the ground and they grab a little too much, but we know she’ll love her new little brother and sister. We love Blossom so much and seriously couldn’t imagine our little family without her!

Little Blossom. I can't believe you are getting so old. It feels like yesterday that your crazy mom (Amanda) called and told us she'd taken you and your siblings in. You are one lucky pup to have found such a good home. Thanks for sharing the photos they were cute.
Blossom you are getting so big. The three years has just flown by. Happy Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!!
