We got to see the babies again last week...seriously the highlight of my existence. As I was driving away from my Perinatologist's office I was distraught with the idea that it would be 4 weeks until I would be returning! Drama! I know, I know!
He (Baby B) is measuring 24 weeks, weighs 1 pound and 7 ounces and has a heartbeat of 147 beats per minute. She (Baby A) is measuring 23 weeks and 6 days, weighs 1 pound and 6 ounces and has a heartbeat of 145 beats per minute! I was bummed that she's "lagging behind," but the tech assured me that "lagging behind" is like a 3 week difference. So She's fine! The goal is to get me to 36 weeks, so that means we're parents in approximately 11 weeks--the joy!

This is his profile, the tech assured me that, that is not his nose...not that we'd love him any less with a huge, honking nose, just comforting to know. Did I mention his daddy can stick 4 quarters in one nostril...that just may BE his nose!
Here is her sweet, angelic face...what you'd think right? Yeah, until you see what she's doing to her brother in the next picture!!!
Yep, that's right, she's kicking her brother in the head...oh, she's feisty. Actually I'd expect nothing less from any daughter of mine!!!

So fun Amanda. They say that little girls are better fighters. They never worry as much about girls because they seem to fight through illness, breathing problems etc better than boys. You probably know that from Jason & Christina's experience. We are just happy for you and the kids. Keep up the good work guys.
They look soooo cute. You are so spoiled- if you ever have a single pregnancy you will be so disappointed to see your baby only ONCE! The rest of the pregnancy you just have to hope for the best! Anyway, they are lookin' good!
Eleven weeks? Can you even believe it? Good thing you have the holidays to distract you- the anticipation about kills you the last little while! Wow, I'm so excited for you!
I love that she's beating on him in utero. Asserting her dominance now so that he'll always know that he should submit to her, he's just not sure why.
Cute! I cant believe you are going to have them very soon! I cant wait to see you the next time with the two of them in tow! Gosh. Time flies. I cant wait for you to experience the love you will feel. Anywhoo, the pictures are great. Especially of the one of her kicking the brother in the head. I wish my brother and I were twins and would have been in the womb together. I would have loved to beat the living daylight out of him. He's super big now and a cop. I cant touch him, but mentally I pretend...a lot. Enjoy your 11 weeks of quiet bliss! And get some sleep while you can!
I love it! You write the best articals. You should write a column in a newspaper or something. You are most definately not a boring person! Luv ya!
