Burgers and Books With The B's

We went on a fun family date Saturday night to Red Robin and Barnes and Noble. We enjoyed some quality time as a family and had our favorite burgers (the kids had pizza and apple slices) and then we let the kids pick out some new books. Braxton chose two books with "caars," his favorite word. And Brinkley chose a book about animal sounds and birds, they both love looking for birds! As usual, Brady wins MVB--he's such a great baby. They are all such a joy!

I've noticed that we get a lot of stares when we're out and about. I hope it's just people trying to figure out how close in age Brinkley and Braxton are. Our kids may be little, but we still have to get out of the house. We may have to endure stares, some public tantrums and flying food in restaurants, but it's worth it! So if you see us, cut us some slack, we're doing the best we can!

Yes, a family has to get out and enjoy somewhere other than home. Just glad you are one of those families that takes the little one's along. They need it too.
Cute family!

Go get em Manda! I agree you have to get out and everyone else can just stare and wonder. It's good for your children to learn how to eat fries and ranch (my fav at rr)and how to pick out a great book. Way to go Brady! MVB is a distiguished honor!

I love the stares - people are funny. You do NEED to get out. If we waited until our children were grown up or at least could eat with out making a HUGE mess - we'd go crazy. You two are so fun. I wish we could double date - then we'd really get some stares!!!
