Mother

Shorty after my beautiful wife Amanda gave birth to our precious children Brinkley and Braxton, I had a conversation with my Father-in-law Randy. He profoundly said, “If guys could have kids there would be about 20 of us. I am not sure it would even be that many. When it comes to children, I strongly believe that women are able to care for, love and sacrifice far more for children than almost any man. From my personal experience in witnessing, the soreness, nausea, pain, and energy depleting process of pregnancy, it would be enough for me to throw in the towel. I know for a fact after watching the beautiful miracle of birth that I would not be willing to go through nine long months (shorter or longer for some) and now have to deal with the utterly tiring and painful process of giving birth. No way! Mothers truly are miracles here on earth. Like the primary song says, Mothers are so special in a very special way, they guide us and protect us, they teach us and direct us back to our home above. I am so blessed to have a wonderful mother in my wife Amanda.

You Let Me Know You Love Me

You let me know you love me
In so many different ways
You make me feel important
With encouragement and praise.
You're always there when I need you
To comfort and to care.
I know I'm in your thoughts;
Your love follows me everywhere.
Thank you for all you've done
And given so generously.
I love you, my wonderful mother;
You're a heaven-sent blessing to me.

Hey David,

Very touching, but how do you pronounce that author's last name exactly?

Your bro-in-law

David you made me cry. What sweet words you wrote about your wife. I think it is funny to see what my husband looks like after he has watched all 5 kids after just an hour. Happy Mother's Day Amanda
