A Day Off

I enjoyed a day off from work on Thursday and had a babysitter watch the kids while I had my one hour glucose blood test--SO FUN! And then I went to the Perinatologist's office for an ultrasound. The baby is looking good and measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule. He weighs approximately 3 1/2 pounds! This pregnancy is going so much faster than with the twins. I feel like I don't talk about or blog about this baby as much as I did the twins, it's not a lack of love, just a lack of time. Let's just say that it's much easier being pregnant with twins, than being pregnant with one and taking care of twins, if that makes any sense! We are so excited for our new little one and I seriously can't imagine life without him, we've been preparing for this since we found out when the kids were 10 months.
I have no new pictures of the baby because I think the technician forget to copy them to my disk, when I got home there were only old pictures on the disk, but I'll post one anyway!

The kids also enjoyed some oranges.

And all of our baby birdies finally left the nest for the "real world" away from the shelter of our wreath and porch. David is so funny, it was raining the other day and he said, "Do you think that mama bird is patting herself on the back for picking such a great spot for her nest?" He's right, it's been rainy and windy, she did pick a great spot--it was tough on us, but we're glad we could make our contribution to nature!
Check out all those turds!
