What's your favorite mommy (or daddy) tip?

Here's a few of mine:
Tip 1: If you follow my blog you'll know I've been having a hard time getting the babies to adjust to foods with chunks. Well, problem nearly solved...they just needed to learn how to chew. A few people suggested different things to get them to do this, but the winner is:

Baby Mum-Mum

They are awesome, they dissolve easily and they are free of preservatives, they do have sugar, but for 4 husks it's less than 1 gram. (Baby applesauce has 14 grams or sugar in one jar, I know it's different, but still!) Anyway, Brinkley it now a champion chewer and Braxton is getting there! I found these at my local Wal-Mart Super Center. (I tried Gerber puffs too, they didn't dissolve as well!) Also, it's takes a few husks to get the hang of it...I would never leave them with the husk unattended!

Tip 2: I found these awesome, long-sleeved, white, onesies at Target For like $6.88--I looked everywhere for a plain white, long sleeved, onesies, they are super hard to find! Now I don't have to retire the babies summer wardrobe, I just throw the onesie on underneath and they are good to go for the colder weather! The shirts are 95% cotton and 5% spandex...the have a great stretch to them and fit snugly under their clothes. Now...what's your tip for getting barf off Brinkley's right sleeve? (See picture below!)

(I know, I know...they are getting too big for the infant carriers...but they are still under the weight maximize and I love the convenience of them. And when we go out to eat they are much better in the carriers then in the restaurant high chairs!)

Sadie loves Baby Mum Mums. We found them at Winco and honestly got them because of the price. They were so much cheaper than anything else we found. Sadie is a pro at chewing now although she is still not keen on the stage 3 food.
Oh and about the stain? I've been using just good ole' fashioned spray n' wash and it's gotten most of all of Sadie's stains out.

The kids are so cute and getting so big. Sadie is having the same problem with the infant seat. But she too is underweight still.

I'm so happy I have someone who is going through the same things as I am. Keep the tips coming. I'm so going to Target to get some long sleeve onesies.

The picture of them on the couch is so adorable and precious. I am running out of superlatives to describe how I feel about them. They are so cute and I love them so much. It makes me wan to hold them and kiss those little mugs. I miss all of you.

I'll give you a tip. Anytime you can pick those babies, love them, hold them, read to them, play with them, or just watch them sleeping……DO IT. Because someday you’ll live your life just waiting for 2 or 3 times a year to see them. Live life with no regrets and with a sense of urgency. Take it from some one who knows. I guess that's why I can’t wait for my 4 children that blog to post something new. You simply can’t imagine what your blog means to us. I love hearing form AZ, NM, and 2NTX.

About that stain... I've heard you can put liquid fabric softener on a stain and set it in the sun for a while to remove it. I haven't done it, but Mary has (remember Mary?) and she says it works. If you try it, let me know if it worked for you.

I don't know that I have a mommy tip that isn't something you've already heard. If I think of a good one, I'll come back and post it.

OK Amanda, here is my baby barf removal formula: First soak overnight in a concentrated oxyclean solution and then wash. If that doesn't work, mix 1C Cascade(the dry stuff), 1/2C baking soda, 1/2C laundry detergent, and wash. I know, sounds wierd, but as a mother of 2 barfy acid reflux babies, I can tell you it works.

As for a mommy tip, one of my favorite finds is these: http://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=5762&cmSource=Search
They are perfect for keeping little boy church shirts tucked in.
