My friend, Judy, and I were driving across town and I was in an area I don't normally drive and there I saw it...the first pumpkin patch I have ever seen in Albuquerque. So I cut across two lanes of traffic and we took some pictures of the babies. We had to wake them up--and they weren't in the best moods. I don't think Brinkley smiled once the whole time we were there. And they were way more interested in the straw and rocks than looking at me! But at least we have their first pumpkin patch documented. Enjoy the pictures.

A while back on my sister-in-law, Eliza's, Blog she mentioned that my Brother, Jeremy, solved a Rubik's Cube, ever since that post I have been meaning to ask him how. I have always wanted to solve one myself. Well, I finally remembered to ask him and he gave me some pointers on where to start. (Apparently there's a system--who knew?!) I worked on it two nights ago until after midnight and then called him yesterday morning for my next step. He gave me some more pointers and then encouraged me to check it out on the Internet. Well, I wasted a whole day, but I can now say that I have solved a Rubik's Cube--TWICE. (I said I wanted to solve it, I never said I had to be quick!) When David got home he laughed at me and my page full of notes...this is serious stuff.

Smiles or no smiles, those are some very cute kids. It would be so nice to kisss and hug them on a daily basis. I tuly miss them. Can't wait to see you again. Maybe for a piece of turkey.
cute babies. i really stink at those cubes.
The babies are cute whether or not they smile. We are taking Sadie to her first pumpkin patch this weekend!
As for the cube...good job. I've always wanted to solve one too. My husband Steve is the brainiac in our family so of course he already has. So again Congrats!
That is so cool! Now I want to get a rubiks cube to solve. Your babies are so cute! Scott is down there in Artesia, NM. That probably isn't very close to you guys though.
