We got to see the babies again this week. This visit was a week ahead of schedule so that they could make sure everything is going well now that I am on the blood thinner. They were looking gorgeous as usual. I know I take for granted that I get an ultrasound every 4 weeks, but seriously it's seems like an eternity between ultrasounds. I just worry so much and then comes that precious moment when I get to see them both and their little beating hearts, it seriously is my favorite thing in the world! I begged my Specialist to let me come weekly and she said very professionally that it wasn't necessary...BUMMER!!!
They both measured exactly 20 weeks (they told me this is very impressive since the marker is for a singleton.), they each weigh 12 ounces and they have heartbeats of 153 (A) and 154 (B) beats per minute. The technician seemed amused that they were so identically matched in their statistics. Not shocking to me, David and I are so stinkin' competitive with one another.
This is the tops of their heads. I think it's funny that he has his back to her...I think she bugs him, she's always crowding his side of the womb.
This is him boxing!
This is her patting the top of his head...again, probably bugging him! Womb Duck, Duck Goose anyone?
Her profile...What a babe!
David wasn't there again this time, but made sure to tell me that because we chose not to see their genders at the last appointment, that he would like some pictures this time. (I think he just wanted confirmation that he was indeed having a son!)
I'm a Boy!
I'm a Girl!

Love the pics of the grandkids. Can't tell if they are really cute or if they are ugly. I guess I should say they might be Esthetically challenged. We'll love them just the same.
Of course they will be VERY cute. You can't tease with a pregnant woman!!!
L O V E seeing the babies!! I am always in totally AWE of ultrasounds. Grow babies grow!
You are so lucky to see the babies so much! When I was prego with Jules, I got two- count 'em, TWO- ultrasounds: the first one at eight weeks to make sure I was indeed with child and to see how far along I was, and one at 5 months. Then I just had to wait.
Love the picture of Girl patting Boy's head.
I love ultrasounds! It is amazing all you can see.
Ultrasounds are super super cool. I get one soon! Looking forward to seeing 10 fingers and 10 toes and to see what it is.
Hey, Amanda! I haven't talked to you for . . . well, I've lost count! How ARE you? I'm so thrilled to see you're having twins! How fun (and overwhelming)! I got your blog through Katie Wilson so I'm so thrilled to find you . . . is it presumptuous that I've already added you to my friends with blogs? Oh, well. . .
