Well, here’s how it’s going so far. I really wanted to love the Toyota, I drive a Toyota and LOVE it, but the Toyota RAV4 is for little people, the Roloffs would love it. We however look beastly inside of it!
The Ford Freestyle doesn’t exist any more, this is the last year that they are making it; they will replace it in ’08 with the Taurus X. The Taurus X is a sweet ride, out of our price range but dubbed the “Safest SUV Ever Made,” it received the highest safety rating ever from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety…good for them!

We have a winner…the Hyundai Santa Fe! I know, I know…a Hyundai?! But it does rank very high on all of our criteria and it has a killer warranty. Plus, for those of you that don’t know, David currently drives a Hyundai. He has put that car through more things than a car should have to suffer and it’s never had a problem. The only issue is…the model we’re looking for is very rare. We want a GLS (base model), FWD, automatic, with the touring package (third-row seating). In the five different states I’ve contacted I’ve found 1 and it’s white…I don’t want to sound like a baby, but I don’t want another white vehicle…this will have been my third in a row!
So if any of you out there have a cousin, with a friend, who has a girlfriend who works at a Hyundai dealership and they have the vehicle we’re looking for let us know. We’d love to come for a visit and buy the stinkin’ thing!

Sounds exciting. Seven seats huh - Are you planning on having a set of triplets soon after the twins or are you just planning for the friends and family who visit. Keep us posted on the babes. We can't wait. Maybe they'll both want to go for older men and Spencer and Sam could meet them at BYU after their missions. It could be a double wedding!!! (that is assuming they're girls!!)
We have friends with a santa fe and it is surprisingly roomy. We think you should go for the lifted 12 passenger pre runner van like ours- fits carseats like a dream and all the stuff that kids require (THAT is astounding in itself...) happy car hunting! --my kids love what little off roading we do- they laugh and laugh and say "go faster!" and "Dad should drive- he goes really fast!"
So jared drives the hyundai sonata. He loves it. It has been a great car. You should go to cars direct website. You can buy the car through them online and they will hunt down the car for you and then have it delivered to the closest dealership to you. It costs nothing for them to look for the car. At least let someone else do the dirty work, buying a car is stressful enough without have to worry about finding the one you want as well.
Buy the stinkin thing and stop talking about it. Go for white it's ok. It looks clean all the time.
I have the freestyle and we really like it! Too bad Ford is stopping production on it. At least you are not getting a mini van - Brandon will not allow that in our house either!
Sure you don't want a 2003 Sentra? I've got one and I'll sell it to you for a killer price. hey, it's even got a warranty, I know how you feel about those.
What's wrong with mini vans? Haha... RAV 4's are great... I promote Toyotas. What about Honda CRV... it is the same size as the Rav 4 and the Santa Fe?
Enough about cars... when do we find out what Baby A is and what Baby B is? I want to know if my prediction of 2 boys is correct.
