California: Part 4

Our second day in San Diego we went out to Coronado Island and spent the day at the beach...it was awesome. At first I was a freak (nervous the kids were going to get swept out to sea) but then I calmed down and let them take off their floats. We had fun splashing in the waves, building sand structures and commandeering other people's boogie boards.












We were so tired we went to bed at 6pm thinking we'd take a short nap and we woke up the next morning!







We headed home that morning and drove all the way to Rio Rancho, it was one very long day, my birthday! We did take an hour and a half break at my brother's house in Mesa, AZ! He, his wife, Christina and their adorable kids were so fun to be around and they even threw me a birthday party and fed us lunch! It was a wonderful vacation and it was fun to see so much of our amazing family and to gain one more member, welcome to the family Uncle Matt!
