Happy Birthday Pumpkins

For Family Home Evening last night (yes, on a Tuesday--I worked Monday night!) we carved pumpkins. After we finished we put them out by the front door and while the kids were admiring their work, I lit some votive candles to place inside of them. The moment the kids saw the flames they immediately broke into, "Happy birthday to you..." It was awesome. So technically it was the birthday of our newly carved pumpkins, I just wish I would have thought to make a cake!
