Brinkley Jada--3 years, 6 months
She is still by FAR the hardest of the three for me to handle, BUT most of the time she's hilarious! She loves ballet dancing (hoping to start her in lessons soon) and talking to herself! She LOVES to know people's names! For example, as we drive down the street she wants to know the names of everyone we pass, bicyclists, dog-walkers, you name it! I usually just make names up! She also has no problem asking anyone, anything! Like at Walmart she saw a lady with a neck brace on and screamed from 10 feet away, "Hey Lady, what's that white thing around your neck?" She's still extremely inquisitive and nosey (for lack of a better descriptor!)
She and Brax took swim lessons this summer and she was absolutely fearless! She loved dunking herself and staying under the water as long as she could--totally freaked the instructor out a few times!
She loves coloring with markers and cutting paper with scissors, every mother's dream! NOT REALLY! She has found markers and colored on a pair of Braxton's shorts, a picture frame and any piece of paper in sight--no walls, thank goodness, at least so far!
She loves all the Disney Princesses and is probably most fascinated with Ariel and I think it also has to do with Ursela, "The mean sea witch!" As she refers to her! She loves a little drama!
She wants her nails painted daily and is fascinated with anything in my bathroom--perfume, shower gel, deodorant, etc!
She makes me laugh out loud daily and as tough and stubborn as she can be, she can also be such a breath of fresh, sassy air!
Braxton Reese--3 years, 6 months
I love it when he smiles really big! It's like his lips disappear and all you see are teeth! It's so cute! He probably makes me laugh the most and yell the loudest! I have to repeat myself a lot with Braxton! I should probably get his hearing checked because it drives me crazy! Even his teacher told me he doesn't listen to her unless she talks more stern and louder! And not sure if this has something to do with it but, he can't whisper--just like his daddy!
He loves Spiderman and anything to do with Spiderman! He will beg to watch a Spiderman show daily and when I tell him no, he loves coming up with a million reasons why he needs to watch it, he's a great negotiator!
He's still Mr. Popularity at school and every kid says hello and goodbye to him daily! He never remembers any of their names so his reply is usually something like, "goodbye girl" or "hello boy!" And all the parents call me "Braxton's mom," as they say something like, "Andrew would really love Braxton to come to his birthday party!" It cracks me up how popular he is!
He is very emotional and easily upset, we're working on getting him calmed down more quickly and he's a champion at taking big deep breaths on command in the middle of a meltdown! Baby steps!
He loves riding his bike and hanging out with the big guys at the park, like the 5-year-olds with no training wheels! He's fearless and easy going and a great brother!
Brady Cameron--2 years
He's two!!!! I can't even believe it!
It was like over night he became a two-year-old too! He asserts his independence like crazy and has been giving me such a hard time. Like refusing to finish his meals or throwing a tantrum over a desired item! I knew his angelicness couldn't last forever, but thank goodness it's still there...sometimes!
He still loves balls and pretty much anything Braxton's has! He doesn't follow Brax around, but definitely loves what he loves...guns, Spiderman, dirt, bikes, the usual! Lately he's been wanting to carry little random treasures around with him every where he goes and has commandeered one of Brinkley's pink purses to carry around with him--so I dug out his felt Halloween treat bag, with a black bat on it and that's become his man-purse! He even calls it a purse, so funny!
He's a great talker and uses complete, understandable sentences to get his message across! I would venture to say that he speaks better than most kids his age! For a while we thought he'd never talk and now it's amazing how well he communicates! Our little genius baby!
I'm amazed everyday how well he can keep up with Brinkley and Braxton, he's always right in the mix! I wish I could say that they all played well together, but then I'd be lying! They fight like cats and dogs, but then they are each other's biggest ally! Maybe one day they will get it all figured out, I just hope I'm still sane when it happens!
Brady is just a crack-up and loves to make us all laugh! He's such a little lover and tough guy all rolled into one! He's our "Brady-guy!"
