We love the Olympics! We’ve been staying up every night—okay mainly me. Once there’s only gymnastics left to watch, David usually goes to bed! I’ve cheered for Michael and cried for Shawn! It has made be want to try pole vaulting and wonder how people ever start fencing. I've been awed and amazed! And for the first time in my "basketball-fan" career, it’s fun cheering for Lebron James! So in the spirit of the Summer Games, we have a few gold medals of our own to award!
In this picture we would like to award the "boxing your brother out" gold medal to Brinkley and the "those are the biggest feet of any 6-month-old ever" gold medal to Braxton!
Here we would like to award the "longest drool" gold medal to Brinkley! (Brinkley would like to thank her mom's new Cannon Rebel for capturing the gold medal winning moment, her old camera would have never got the shot!)
The "I'm so dang happy, I'm closing one eye" gold medal goes to Braxton!
The gold medal for "sticking more fingers in her mouth and nearly chocking herself" goes to Brinkley!
There are no pictures to capture our next gold medal that goes to the little heart breaker above, but Braxton gets the gold for "sleeping through the night like a log and allowing his parent to sleep consistently!"
In the "Synchronized Pooping" category the gold medal goes to the Dynamic Duo of Brinkley and Braxton Clyde!

You seriously crack me up! The twins are getting so big. And are sooo CUTE! It is fun to read your blog and think back to my twins doing the same things just months before. Mine turn 1 next month.
Two of the custest olympians I have ever seen. Why those are the best pictures, best events, and best contestants I have ever seen.
Heehee. And can I just say how much I'm LOVING their auburn hair? GORGEOUS. I have to pay so much for mine to look like that. Lucky kids.
They really are adorable & I too love their hair color. This is such a fun age as they explore!
Well, I have to agree with you and say I have throughly enjoyed the Olympics too but those adorable contenders of yours take the cake! Or should I say the GOLD!
