My New Normal

I apologize to all of our loyal fans that have patiently waited for more pictures. My life as of recently can be described in the following question and answer:

Q: What is harder than working while carrying twins to 37 weeks, delivering them vaginally 8 minutes apart, nursing them and staying awake with them all night?

A: Leaving them to go back to work.

So needles to say I’ve been really busy…but like so many working moms before me, it’s working out and I’m learning to balance my new life--my new normal. I just remind myself daily and hourly that this too shall pass.
Okay enough drama! These are the latest and greatest pictures. The outfits were a gift from Cheryl (thank you) and I was afraid they would never get to wear them. By the time they could fit into them it had warmed up…but then a cold front moved in and I grabbed those cute, little things out of the closet and put them on the babies. What show stoppers…so cute.

Bath time is something the babies are learning to love and so are we. Man can babies get stinky. My sister-in-law (thank you aunt Chrissy) warned me about the stinky neck problem, but really I had no idea how stinky little babies can get--wooohooo. So we love baths because no more stinky babies, but the kiddos are still learning to enjoy them. This bath time was by far their most enjoyable. Here a few shots for you to enjoy also.

I love the bath pics they look so fat and happy, and that's how we like our babies. They are also very modest. Keep the pictures coming they already look so much different to me.

I love the strategically placed towels. In every bath picture for my kids my mom is "strategically" placing her hand for maximum coverage. . . so cute!

Wow oh Wow!! Those are some stinkin cute kids. They must have incredible genes. Mom and I have looked at these pictures about a million times. Well maybe only a hundred. Those babies are so precious, we just want to hold them and kiss those little cheeks. Can't wait for June there will be some serious tickling and kissing going on. I just can’t get over how cute they are. I thought David’s genes might mess up things, but they turned out ok. Just kidding David. LOL.

I completely understand the whole going back to work thing...i've only been back three weeks now and I'm still adjusting. Oh and don't you love those bumbo seats. My Sadie lives in hers practically. Hang in there and enjoy the weekends!!!
