One crazy day...

Today was such an eventful day...so much to blog, where to begin? Okay, so I woke up this morning and I had a great business idea, it came to me during that moment of still being asleep, yet knowing what's going on before you awake. I'd like to think it was inspiration. I really want to start my own business. I feel like it's my calling in life: I've been running a multi-million dollar business for seven years, I am so motivated and I know I've got people skills and I'm a smooth talker. I have been obsessed with starting a business and I have been throwing tons of ideas around (especially to Aimee, shout out!) and I finally have one. I'll blog about once I get it going.

After my inspirational sleep, I awake to find Blossom is still not herself. All day Sunday she was sick and a little loopy. The Vet today called it, "ADR, that pup just ain't doing right." The poor pup had a few things stuck in an area we won't mention and after some microscoping the Vet said she had a bacterial infection and gave her some antibiotics. She's much better already. I'm not a mom, but it is just so hard to see your "baby" in pain. While at the Vet I get a call from David and he got a job here in New Mexico!!!! He was in town for a second interview and he walked in and they offered him a position. This is so big for us, he would have moved here sooner but no one could match his Las Vegas salary and this company was able to. This means that after nearly 8 months apart, we will live under the same roof! He starts next Monday.

To celebrate our great news we decided to head to the Zoo. After much anticipation, I finally got my wish and we went to the Rio Grande Zoo. It was a lot of fun and we saw some interesting things. We discovered that though all the animals may be very different, they do however have a lot in common...
They love a good afternoon nap.
They love their friends.
Sometimes they just want a little alone time. They love to show off their babies.

They love to play!
They don't appreciate being made fun of.
(We just thought we were so funny taking these pictures...okay mainly I did.) After a fun-filled 3 hours at the zoo, we headed off to a late lunch. David chose the restaurant. There is no way I would ever choose to eat at Lone Star...I am just not a steak and potatoes kind of girl. Anyway, I think it was the advertisement for ALL YOU CAN EAT RIBS that drew him in. Here's David by the sign, with a full belly and some take out. (I don't think take out is allowed at an ALL YOU CAN EAT establishment, we're ghetto! ...Don't you love how he'll pose for anything...I just love him?!)

The zoo looks awesome. We love the San Diego Zoo but that looks like it is as good. One day when we get out to New Mexico you'll have to take us. By the way, the run was fun and we all survived!

Hey Amanda, Tawni and I are dying to know what your business idea is. Let us know when you make it public. Maybe we can invest (in 10 years when we have money)...

I am definitly going to be checking more often to find out what your great idea is. I don't have those very often so I live through others. Good luck!
