Halloween--2012

I love Halloween! It's such a fun, semi-relaxing Holiday, with little stress. I LOVE HALLOWEEN!
This year we had lots of fun festivities to celebrate the spooky holiday. Besides our ward trunk-or-treat, last Friday, most of our busy-ness was on the 31st. The kids and I even managed to take a nap!

Napoleon Dynamite, Deb and the Kids

Optimus Prime

Fairy Butterfly (Is there such a thing?)

Motorcycle Guy
In the morning the kids had a party at their school, complete with a potluck and a parade at a nearby nursing home.

That evening we met David at work and headed over to Chipotle for a $2 "Boo-rito." (I love Chipotle and I love a good deal!)

We sat outside and the kids interviewed everyone walking in as to what their costume was, even people not dressed up....awkward!
Then we headed over to the mall for mall truck-or-treating....it's a lot of candy in a short time. I have to say, David's costume was a huge hit! People would point at him and tell their friends, we would hear "Napoleon," everywhere we turned. One guy even ask to take a picture with him! It was so fun!

Then we headed over to Krispy Kreme in our costumes for our free Halloween donut....does the fun and all the Halloween discounts ever end! Amazing!

Then we headed home and we passed out candy at the house and then did a little real trick-or-treating around our block. It was awesome, we have such cool, kind and generous neighbors! As we were walking back to the house, Brinkley said, "mom this is the best night ever!" So there you have it, the best night ever! Let the sugar high begin!
