Who They Are Now

So, it's official, we now have two 3-year-olds and a 1-year-old, that doesn't sound nearly as difficult as two 2-year-olds and a 1-year-old, right? Piece of cake! Our B's are growing up and cracking us up, everyday is fiilled with a lot of laughs...and a few time-outs!

Brinkley Jada--3 years, 2 months (almost)

Who ever told Brinkley to save the drama for her mama, well you ARE NOT MY BEST-FRIEND ANYMORE! I'm pretty sure I get the majority of her DRAMA, and it serves me right, I was just like her! Okay, I'm still like her, very stubborn, I like getting my way, I know what I want, I'm assertive and I don't back down! Great qualities for a successful business woman, but a 3-year-old with those qualities, well it's exhausting being her mom! I lose a lot of battles, but I think I still may win the war! Everyday I remind myself that she's all my dreams come true! And she is! She's a snuggler, an artist, a dancer, she loves water and dirt, not necessarily together! She loves washing her hands and talking your ears off! The lip gloss obsession continues and I find myself smuggling my own lip glosses into the house! She loves to pray and never forgets anything...she'll remember any bribe, even one said in haste just to get her to go to sleep! She is such a ham and is totally aware of when people are watching and turns on the charm! She is very inquisitive and constantly wants to know about everyone and everything around her! She is constantly spending time in time-out for climbing up to the sink and washing her hands and dumping any thing out...soap, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, she loves to dump! She's an exhaustingly, beautiful breath of fresh air!

Braxton Reese--3 years, 2 months (almost)

Oh Braxton, thank you! Thank you for not throwing tantrums, thank you for recognizing your mistakes, apologizing and moving on. Thank you for your patient, easy-going personality! You're still a bruiser, but your charm, oh your charm, I adore you!

He's grown up so much recently! He recently told Brinkley to stop screaming because it was hurting his ears. He sometimes parents her for me! He's getting in trouble less and less these days! He still asserts his will when it's s toy he wants from a sibling, but he'll recognize his mistake apologize and move on...most days! He LOVES watching his favorite shows, Dora the Explorer and Go Diego Go! We have a family rule that all the toys must be cleaned up before we turn a show on and he sometimes reminds us. I just thinks it's awesome that a 3-year-old little boys says, "Mom, we can't watch Diego, we have to pick up our toys!" He's amazing! He loves to pray and always asks if Jesus can come to our house and play! He loves toy guns! We don't own any, but at a friend's or cousin's house it's the first thing he'll go for and never let go! He doesn't like napping, or going to bed at night, but usually doesn't put up a fight! When he does something awesome, I usually wink at him and give him a bug thumbs-up and he does it right back with a huge, charming smile! He melts my heart!

Brady Cameron--1 year, 8 months (almost)

He is so stinkin' cute, I know I'm biased, but I just look as his beautiful face and I'll do anything he wants, he has me wrapped around his finger! He just recently has broadened his vocabulary from his 10 favorite words, to repeating almost anything we say! But still on his terms! "Stop" and "No" are still his favorites! He loves trying to keep up with his older siblings and has turned into quite a climber! He's tough, he takes so much from the bigger B's and cries a bit and then is right back in the mix! A broom his probably his favorite toy, yes, a full size broom, he loves them! He does the funniest squinty thing with his eyes and nose, I think it's adorable! Any time he sees bare skin he'll sneak up and do a raspberry on you! Its usually me when I'm on the ground picking up toys and my shirt comes up in back, he'll sneak over and raspberry me, he loves it and so do I! He goes pee-pee on the potty every morning after he wakes up and before bath at night, he's nowhere near being potty trained, but I think he's a baby genius! He absolutely adores David and gets so excited to see him, "da, DA, DAAA!" And I know the feeling's mutual! He's becoming such a big guy, all his winter pants are high-waters! At his last appointment he was 90% in height and 20% in weight, we think he's got a big-o head, but it was only 50%--I guess he'll grow into it! We absolutely adore him! Oh, how we love to see the latest photos of each of them! Just which we could see and hug them in person a lot more often. Give our Bs a hug and kiss from granbe and granpa.
