Looks like our yard is a popular spot for bird's nests. Last Spring we had one right in our front tree, by our living room window. Well this year they decided to move a little closer!
Can you spot the nest in the first two pictures? 
Yep, that's right, there's a nest in the wreath on our front door! We had no idea it was there--there did seem to be a lot of singing birds, but I thought it was just because the weather was so beautiful. Then on Sunday David went to take out the trash and and egg fell out of the nest, splat on our foyer floor. It took a minute to figure out what it was and where it came from, I thought at first the garbage bag was leaking. Anyway, I checked the nest and there weren't any other eggs and since then she has laid 4 more, needless to say we're trying to be careful when we open the door. I think it's a wonderful Spring treat, but I am dreading the poop to come, we are going to have to replace the wreath for sure!
