Done.

I first heard about the Twilight saga like 2 years ago (I think there was only two books back then), I knew I would be hooked, so I refused to read them, I was too busy to let them consume my life.

Well, fast-forward to now and nearly everyone woman I know has read them, family, friends, and now coworkers. It really didn't bother me until my coworkers started reading them, I had to see them everyday and I started feeling like I was out of the Twilight loop...I wanted to be inside the loop. So one night after work I went and bought Twilight and two days later bought the rest of the saga. I just finished on Monday and it took me 11 days to read all four novels...over 2300 pages. In that amount of time I took good care of my babies and worked 64 hours at work, I did neglect sleep, laundry and feeding my husband, but I can now say that I'm in the Twilight loop. I'm not going to lie...I do feel stupid that I care so much about teenage, vampire love, but who cares...I enjoyed my time. See you at the theaters November 21st!

A few weird side effects of reading so much:

I've started narrating my life in my mind.

Every weird noise that Brinkley makes, I wonder, "Is she a vampire?"

I like vampires.

Last Christmas we bought the first three for my dad since he loves to read and loves books about vampires. Well he couldn't really get into the whole teenage vampire love thing but I did. I read the first three in about a week. Then I had to wait for the 4th. Much to my suprise it was a really long wait.

Ok, Ok , Ok. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. I am glad you have read about the blood sucking things. Now where are pictures of my grandchildren. Let's not lose our heads about what's important. Well to me anyway.

Amanda,
I too fought the urge to read the books, because I turn a little obsessive until I finish the books and I knew that I'd be that way until I read the ALL. But I really loved them too. I've got a group of people together to go and see the movie but we are going on Saturday. Hope you enjoy it.

Well, your not alone! I'm an OLD lady and I loved them! I can't wait for the movie so I can go and drool over a teenage vampire! LOL
Glad you finally got to read them.

I too, was out of the loop. I never even heard about it until Breaking Dawn came out. I was sick of everyone talking about Edward and Jacob, so I broke down and read Twilight, just in time for the movie! Now I still have 3 books left!

I am glad to hear you enjoyed the books - I have yet to read them but there may come a time that I will. As far as the name goes for the baby...I will throw Amanda into the mix - Rich will probably have the final say since he has more opinions about it than I. Love the babies at the park - I wish we could go to the park together. I miss you.
