Las Vegas, Here We Come!

So we're headed to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks and I seriously can't wait. We are really excited to see David's Family and my parents (they are driving in from CA!) and all of our Vegas friends. But, besides the family and friend time, I'm really excited to:

Eat a Chipotle burrito

Pick up a Souvenir From Tiffany & Co.

Eat nachos from Baja Fresh

Shop at the Outlet Mall

Eat a "grilled chicken and avocado club sandwich" from The Cheesecake Factory

(Can you tell I am really excited to eat ALL my favorite foods that I can't get here in New Mexico!?)

Maybe see all my old favorite places--that bring such happy memories of college and dating and falling in love with David!

(No, I didn't gamble here...it's where my freinds and I spent many nights eating $1.99 breakfast--doesn't start serving until 11PM, we were young and crazy!)

I love Las Vegas. I was drawn there.
The Story: I was accepted to BYU-Hawaii, I was even registered for classes, I was so excited to go and OUT OF NO WHERE I totally felt prompted to apply to UNLV (I don't think it's that hard to get in to...maybe just a HS Diploma and a pulse is all you need!) I really prayed hard about what to do and I KNEW without a doubt that UNLV was where I should be. I called BYU-H and ask to defer a semester (just in case) and I packed up my car and drove to Las Vegas. I lived in a hotel for 3 days until I found a place to live and I guess the rest is history. As I look back on my life now...I don't think I've made a more important decision. That decision brought so many amazing people into my life and allowed me have the most amazing college experiences and it brought me, most importantly, David. I love where we live now, but I am so grateful to Las Vegas for what is was for me then and what it has brought to me now!
See you soon old friend!

I am so glad you came to UNLV - that decision then changed my life forever. I know FOR SURE I would never have ended up in Vegas had you not been here. Crazy how things work out. Love the Terrible's photo - we were crazy who stays up that late for food that was not that good - but it was cheap!! Apartment living with 5 girls, Institute Council, Relief Society President - many things that prepared you for life!! We are so excited. Email me - about the details.
