201 Days and Counting...

On December 1, 2006 I gave up sweets, candy, ice cream, chocolates, desserts and all that yummy junk food…that means that not so much as a Skittle has entered my mouth in 201 days as of today. I feel healthier and it’s totally not a temptation at all anymore. But don’t get me wrong, in the beginning you notice every Butterfinger that every baby is eating in every stroller in every mall…but now it does nothing to me. This is the second time I banned sweets from my body, I did it once before from July 24, 2000-May 23, 2003, I broke it on wedding cake, my own, and after a considerable weight gain, I decided to do it again. Any one with me?? I promise, if I can do it, anyone can do it!

Do you know that I never, ever ate sweets or drank diet cokes (or any cokes) before I met Nate? I hated sugar and anything sweet. Then Nate came into the picture and chocolate became the center of our marriage. I am proud of you. 201 days! Im in.

Way to go Amanda! You have such will power. I dislike chocolate and most sweets, but give me a french fry or yummy piece of bread and I'm ALL OVER IT. Not to mention my addiction to Dr. Pepper - I've tried to cut it out completely to no avail, so I just try my hardest to not drink 64 oz. a day :)

You are so good Amanda! I gave up diet coke and eating after 6pm... and that's the best I can do. But it helped. I've lost 10 pounds, and I started mid May. Good luck!

201 days? Plus, since I'm late blogging, it's even more now! That is so awesome! I know I feel better when I eat right, and I have more energy. Way to go! I promise I won't pressure you to eat anything you don't want to when I see you in a few days. It seems other people and the food pressure is what destoys me...
