Wow…count them, 1, 2, 3, 4 years. We’re celebrating our 4th Anniversary this week. It feels like such an accomplishment. We were laughing about it last night and David said, “The last few years sure have been better than the first few.” AND I TOTALLY AGREE. I say “good for you,” to those of you that have perfectly blissful marriages, because we don't. Marriage is wonderful and rewarding and amazing, but it's also really tough. You just never know what your challenges and struggles will be in life and the same is true with marriage. I would have never guessed what our trials would have been, but I'm so proud of us, we have weathered them well. I love David so deeply and though it's been tough at times, I would still do it all over again. I feel it an honor and blessing to be his...
wife, eternal companion, soul mate, racquetball partner, co-parent to Blossom, kite flying assistant, hunkit, personal chef and housekeeper, accountant, human alarm clock, voice of reason, ultimate backgammon challenger, blanket stealer, pimple popper, personal stylist, chauffeur and maybe one day his baby mama!
This is my favorite engagement picture of us...we looked so young and innocent, unaware of what was ahead, but so hopeful for the future.
