Follow-up On Durango

Durango is now just a fleeting memory. Here are a few pictures that I took while I was there...I really meant to take more, but I was busier than I expected. I really only have some shots of the hotel room...wow, ooooh, awwww, I know this must be the most exciting blog you've looked at all day. Yah right! Okay let's get down to business.

Eggs Benedict is my favorite breakfast dish of all time, but it always one of the most expensive items on the breakfast menu and because I am so cheap, I usually order something less expensive and not as desirable. Why? Why? Why? So while the company was paying the bills, I called room service and I ordered it...with no regrets. Yum.

The ketchup came in an adorable, tiny glass bottle. I had to take a picture of it next to my phone to prove its size. I have never seen a bottle of ketchup so small. If any of you out there have, I would love to know where.

The bed came with 5 pillows and one said sweet dreams. I have one question: How in the world are you having sweet dreams while using 5 pillows? You wouldn't be lying down, you'd be sitting up and that wouldn't be "sweet" nor "dreamy" while trying to sleep.

Here's the view from the room's balcony, it was right on the river. I took this picture the day I arrived.

And this picture was taken on day three...no one warned me about snow!!! It melted before noon and then it was a beautiful and sunny day. Fun except for the part about having to get all that snow off the car early in the morning.

And then there's Blossom, she loved it. Her favorite past time was barking at passersby enjoying peaceful strolls along the river. Not my proudest moment.
